Monica, describe yourself for our visitors.
Hi, I am Monica Carter Tagore and I’m inspired by life. I have a range of interests, so there is always fodder for creative projects. I love watching football — especially the Dallas Cowboys. I enjoy spending time with my husband — doing pretty much anything, traveling, watching movies, eating out. And I enjoy fun time with a few good friends and family.

Fon, describe yourself for our visitors.
My name is Fon James and I am often described as a fun-loving person! I am a wife, sister, daughter, author, and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in journalism, and a MBA. I currently work full-time as a Sr. communications consultant for a major insurance company in Houston, TX. When I am not working or writing, I enjoy hanging out with my hubby and all of my family back home in Mississippi (my home state). I love attending black college football games and hearing the sound of the marching bands. I attend the Fort Bend Church in Sugarland, TX where I am an active member of the choir and the praise team.
Right now, I am listening to G-Mayes and N.E.’s song, Hit the Deck (check it out on my www.myspace.com/fonjames page. It is definitely jamming)! The group is basically telling the devil he’s got to go!!! I’m definitely feeling that because he definitely doesn’t have any place in my life!

Vivi, describe yourself for our visitors.
A simple yet complex woman who happens to be an author with a heart and passion to please God through the use of the talents He’s given me. Many describe me as “deep” and that often amuses me since I know me as “goofy” (LOL). Anyway, when I’m not writing, I’m assisting other authors in their literary projects through my contract publishing company, Queen V Publishing. My hobbies and interests outside of writing and publishing are few to none as of late … I’ve GOT to work on that!

THE JOURNEY
Keep It Moving
by Becky DeWitt
The adversary has organized and set a deceptive plan using the mind of the Believer to create a mirage of false evidence that appears real enough to make one think that we are living through see –nothing days. This mirage is a lie from the pits of hell using every strategy to weary the faith of the saints. A board meeting was held and you are the primary target. The orders were issued with subversive tactics enlisting deception, delusion, despair, distraction, and most importantly, doubt.

Lynn, describe yourself for our visitors.
I am a writer first, but professionally I’m also a licensed clinical social worker. My original family is small (one brother, one sister), but my extended family is huge! Our grandparents, aunts and uncles were more fruitful
) I love listening to gospel music of course, but I love blues and R&B as well.
I’ve been a member of the same church since I was a baby. I’ve done a little bit of everything in church since I was a little kid because my mother “volunteered” me, a lot! Which is how I discovered that I have some kind of phobia about singing in public. To avoid being “volunteered” to sing I would quickly raise my hand to read a scripture, poem or some inspirational prose piece. Pretty sneaky, huh? Anyway, I realized that this didn’t make me freak out nearly as much. In fact, I became so comfortable that I started writing my own stuff. You see I knew I wanted to write fiction by age ten, mainly murder mysteries at first. So it was natural that eventually I started writing for church. Actually this happened when I couldn’t find anything that fit the themes our Baptist program directors would develop- at least in my not-so-humble childish opinion. READ MORE
