December 1st is World’s Aids Day. Today, author Shawneda Marks joins us to talk about her very timely book release, It’s in My Blood.

Wow…umm I”m a spunky, energetic down to earth chick who loves God, my hubby, family, words green living and lotsa things in between. I’m trusting God to show me how to write, read and promote books full time.

How do you find time to connect with God?

I never find the time…I have to make it. Life is hectic for everyone…always something else to be done, so I make myself take moments throughout the day to love on Him. He is my first point of contact in the morning and last conversation at night. I’m not real deep with it, we talk, I read his book, then I grow.

This year marks the first ever Holiday Book Drive conducted by AAMBC. I for one am excited as I have located two group homes in the San Antonio Metro Area. The book drive is the spread the love for literature and to entertain those who are less fortunate in a way they would have never imagined. I hope you choose to donate.
