First and far most, I’m a born-again Christian. Down through the years when faced with some difficult challenges in life, my faith in the Almighty God has grown stronger.
How do you find time to connect with God?
My connection with God is through prayer. Usually, my day begins around 3:00am with a quiet meditation period, followed by prayer.

Dolores Huerta, labor leader, social activist, and community organizer was the co-founder of the United Farm Workers. She started this organization with well-known activist Cesar Chavez in the 1950s. Raised in the central San Joaquin Valley community of Stockton, California, Huerta was well-known for her leadership the early years of farm worker organizing.

Stephanie, describe yourself for our visitors
I am a Christian woman who happens to be a minister of the gospel, pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother, student and an author all wrapped up in one. Whew! I didn’t realize I wear that many hats! I have always had a love for books and I have being writing on and off since I was a young girl.
How do you find time to connect with God?
Usually my time with God is late at night while everyone else is asleep. I’m really not an early riser, but I’m usually on the night watch.
