Hello my name is Dr. Dyoni Cole. I am president of Dyoni, Inc., a consulting organization that specializes in leadership development in the areas of Education, Management, and Organizational Leadership, and Dance Leadership.
I am a worshipper at heart and is heavily involved in performing and creative arts ministry. I have a passion to see others exceed their own expectations and reach high levels of excellence. I believe in going beyond the call of duty to help others maximize their full potential and become effective while advancing to the next level.
I received my doctorate from Argosy University in Business Administration with a focus on management and organizational leadership. I received her MBA from University of Phoenix and I am currently earning a MS in Psychology at Walden University.
I live by the words “Always be a student of your craft, as each day is an opportunity to LEARN, to LOVE, and to DANCE.”
How do you find time to connect with God?
Dance is my connect with God. As I allow the Lord to move me, I am completely disconnected from everything and one with him. I also use my alone time to connect with God. I believe you are your most important project; therefore you must take time to breath, reflect, and process. It is in these moments I connect with God.
Who are your favorite authors? Favorite books?
I love St. Augustine. Lately, I’ve enjoyed reading John Maxwell. His book 15 invaluable laws of Grow is a favorite and the first that comes to mind.
Tell us about your journey to publication.
It’s been a long time coming to publication. For some reason, I always hit an invisible ceiling as I attempted publication. But looking back, I believe I was not positioned right. I had to get myself in the right position in order for me to begin ad complete publication.
I See You… You Cannot Hide is a book about self-deception, deceit, shame, and rejection. I expose my truth by sharing a life changing situation that was designed to destroy me. The goal of the book is to help others who are currently going through or recently went through some type of devastating situation and for those who are tired of vicious cycles of self-destruction. The book really speaks to those who desperately want to be free, but feel stuck, lost, and torn between good and evil.
How did you come up with ideas for this book?
I felt the need to expose my truth. We as people go through so much and I felt that my exposed truth could help someone in some way.
What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?
No matter the situation and no matter where you are in life, God is with you. You are never alone. No matter what is going on in your life, you do not have to ashamed. As you expose the situation, you are 70% free from the situation.
What’s next for you?
I published another book entitled: 4 steps to deal with your issues. This book was inspired by I see yo… You cannot hide. Its a how to book. I actually implemented the steps as I had to address some issues in my life. I also, just finished my children’s book, so I’m working with an illustrator now to get all the illustrations together. I’m really excited about these projects. I’m excited about all my projects.
