I have really been writing my book for a few years I would start and stop get disappointed and stop.

How did you develop the idea into a full length story?

I develop the story by going back to the time in my past as if it happened yesterday.

How many hours a week do you devote to writing, including research?

I use to write for at least 30 minutes but in the past year and half I devote 2 hours to writing and research.

How do you keep a balance between family, work, and writing?

Easy I have a schedule that I go by raising 6 out of my 7 kids it was alot but it taught how to multitasks on all levels.

Have you ever experienced writers block, and if so, how did you deal with it so that you could begin to write again?

Yes, I have experienced writers block. When I experience writer’s block I stopped writing and started attending church functions and women’s conferences for the motivation.

image004Getting a book published is the start. To have a long career as a full time writer, you need to move your books. Tell us about 2-3 effective ways you have found to get the word out about your book.

I have learned that you have to be willing to go promote yourself at places others would not want to go. Be open to churches to get your story out there. Also do radio interviews if possible. Social media is good but you have to be the person to go meet your supporters.

What would you like to see happen in your writing career 5-10 years from now?

Five to ten years from If I am blessed to be living I would like to receive an award for having several Best Selling Books. I would also like to still be empowering people to reach their full potential, anything else is a bonus.

How can others reach you?

What last words of encouragement would you like to leave with us?

Speak your blessings into the atmosphere. Believe in what you are speaking and know that with God in your corner that it can and will happen.
