Who are your favorite authors? Favorite books?

My favorite authors vary but I enjoy works by Ted Dekker, Ruth Axtell, Darlene Mindrup, Mary Twomey, Pauline Creed, David G. Johnson, Roystonn Pruitt, and others

Tell us about your journey to publication.

My journey to publication began when I met my critique partner. She helped me tremendously and I owe my road to publication to her. She ironed out the spots that were wrinkled and encouraged me throughout the entire process of finishing my book. My agent took a chance on a new writer and she also honed the book and worked tirelessly to get it published. Each rejection was a step closer to publishing. She never doubted for an instant my book would be published even when I did.

Celeste agreed to be his wife but she didn’t want anything else in return. The only man she could ever love was her sister’s fiance. The books tells about their relationship and how the best laid plans go awry.

How did you come up with ideas for this book?

The second book in the series, which I am currently working on now, led to this book. I was working on my draft when Solomon and Celeste tapped me on the shoulder and wanted me to tell their story.

To love yourself. And if you can’t love yourself, God love you more than anyone.
