Many Believers are seeking to step into a dimension where they have a supernatural encounter in the glory of God. We sing about the glory. We talk about the glory. We even think that we have experienced the glory. The truth is we have not truly experienced the glory until we become a part of the glory. There is a process of preparation that comes before the experience.
The glory of God must be and will be revealed in our lives. “But what of that? For I consider that the sufferings of this present time, this present life, are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!” (Romans 8:18 AMP). Whatever you are going through, key words are going through, meaning that you are not stationery, but in motion, cannot be compared to the outcome of the present situation. We sometimes forget that God has already “Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.” (Isaiah 46:10 AMP).
Look at the outcome of it all. Have you ever wondered what are those things that He has declared that are not yet done? Searching the scriptures we find our end and it is gloriously victorious. It is not the end that causes many to become weary but the process to get to the point on the journey. There is help in His word to assist us in the process.
Are you aware that you have been chosen for such a time as this? “You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you, I have planted you, that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting, that it may remain, abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name, as presenting all that I Am, He may give it to you.” (John 15:16 AMP). Was it your choice? This occurred before the foundation of the world and you did not even have a clue, especially when you were in the world system. Salvation activated that which was hidden for the Kingdom purpose, which is in you. The incorruptible seed that is within will produce the choice fruit. Having been set apart by God, the Holy Ghost will separate, draw, and reveal that which has been reserved for you in the appointed time.
God has confidence in the work He has for you and will do through you. “But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us in joint fellowship with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us, enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit; He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by putting His seal upon us and giving us His Holy Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee of the fulfillment of His promise.” (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). He made a deposit, a security or partial payment for the guarantee of that which He will do in you. He has begun the work in the vessel that He has chosen to use mightily at this time. We need to know and understand that there will be a completion of His work. “And I am convinced and sure of this very thing,
that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return, developing that good work and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.” (Philippians 1:6).
Years ago while I was in a conference, I heard a great woman of God make a statement that has stayed with me over the years during countless attacks and situations. ‘You my enemy have anointed me.’
No one wants to go through the persecution and all of the trimmings of hurt, pain, and anguish that accompanies the attack. We are in need of a different point of view to see with a new set of eyes, seeing through our Father’s eyes.
“For our light, momentary affliction, this slight distress of the passing hour is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!” (2 Corinthian 4:17 AMP). There are three words in this scripture that gives light and understanding, which are preparing, producing and achieving. Preparing is the act of getting ready or to be in proper condition for something that is expected. Producing is to bring into existence that which we do not know of and achieving is the final successful accomplishment. “For all these things are taking place for your sake, so that the more grace, divine favor and spiritual blessing extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase and redound to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:15 AMP). Is there a harvest of souls attached and assigned to your testimony of God’s grace and favor during this momentary and temporary situation?
Do not murmur or complain during the process. Murmuring is a sound of continuous discontent. In Hebrew it is translated to mean malicious whispering of slander or faultfinding. You will be finding fault with God even though you may not be aware of His plan in the process. “Not in your own strength, for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you energizing and creating in you the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining against God and questioning and doubting among yourselves,” (Philippians 2:13-14).
The enemy is working with the words that you give voice to hinder and even cause delays. In other words you are working against yourself and the plan of God for you because of lack of knowledge. Going through with praise and worship on your lips will change the atmosphere and confuse the enemy by providing the signal that you are aware of the devices and will not give up or give in. You know who you are and you have faith in your identity to walk in your God given authority.
When I got the title for this article, my first thought was of a particular class or division of boxing. It is the heaviest in the competitive divisions. Everything that we go through and how we go through is
working to prepare, produce and achieve the division of the weight of His glory that we want so desperately. It is all working for you to have the advantage. Upon completion you will have obtained trust for the authority to operate in His glory. You are being dressed for His display and you didn’t even have a clue about the mantle you would be wearing.
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, because we continued to behold in the Word of God as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another;
