Gail, describe yourself for our visitors.
I am a woman, wife, and mother who share the words that are spoken into my heart by the Holy Spirit and those same words are delivered directly from me and my heart to the listener’s ear. One would say that I am most widely recognized for my personable and outgoing personality. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I was ordained as a pastor in March 2009 and pastor alongside my husband at our church plant, The Church at North Pointe in Columbus, Ohio.
God has anointed me to deliver life changing messages; whether reading scripture, speaking truth from the pulpit or walking the aisles while teaching, the listener’s heart is stirred by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. God has anointed me to speak messages that will stir the soul and further advance her desire for all Christians to find healing, hope and health.
How do you find time to connect with God?
I live a life of prayer. I am also an author of a prayer book and workbook entitled: Ready to Pray. I rise early to be with, God. I travel the US conducting 24 hour prayer gatherings. Without connecting with, Jesus I’m a mess.
Tell us about your current book?
The book Title: Who Told You That? The Truth about the Lies ~ is a book about exposing the lies the enemy has whispered into our spirit.
Have you lived your life based upon a lie that someone has spoken into your life?
Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought to yourself; “I’ll never amount to anything.” Why do you feel this way? Did someone tell you that? The devil has told us many lies and we believed Him; God has told us the truth and we doubted Him, Pastor Gail Dudley’s “Who told you that?” exposes the reality about some of those beliefs and assumptions. Genesis 1:1 reveals to us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Over and over again throughout the first chapter of Genesis God declares, “It was good.” It’s all good! So what’s up with the woman in Genesis chapter three? What in the world? She, like many of us today, allows others to whisper in our ears the lies of the enemy that, in turn, fill our minds with false information. Prayerfully this book will open your eyes, get you thinking, and lead you to ask yourself, and others, “Who Told You That?” It’s time to expose the deception and to live into the truth. This book will help you to recognize the tricks and lies and teach you how to believe and rely on the Word of God.
How did you come up with ideas for this book?
While preparing a sermon to women who have been wounded by the “lies” the enemy has whispered in their ears I realized the lies I personally believed. This turned into much research and conducting surveys of women. Time and time again lies were exposed and deliverance took place. After delivering this sermon message; CD’s sold at a record high and women would meet me in the mall, restaurants, at the airport without calling me by name, but saying, “You’re the woman who preached, “Who Told You That?” They would continue by saying, “That message changed my life.” That’s when I was led to write a book and call it, “Who Told You That?” with the sub-title: The Truth about the Lies.
What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?
Be delivered and move beyond the lies of the enemy.
What’s next for you?
Waiting for the release of my prayer CD called, “Ready to Pray.”
