INTERVIEW | Robert Leon Davis

Robert, describe yourself for our visitors.

I’m one of those people you would describe as a free spirit. My hobbies and interest are hiking, camping, and spelunking. I simply love the outdoor life.

How do you find time to connect with God?

I usually connect with him as soon as I wake up from my sleep. I always give him thanks with a personal prayer in the morning.

Do you have a favorite bible verse and or quote you wish to share?

” No matter what state I find myself in, I have learn to always be content.”

Tell us about your current book.

“Running Scared” is my memoir and the true life story of a man who 30 years ago stupidly committed a crime. I was arrested, then later fled, and ultimately became one of America’s longest running fugitives; for a period of 22 years!  One day in the woods I received a revelation from God and decided to surrender….first to God, and then to law enforcement. After my surrender and freedom, I decided to write about my experiences in the hopes that it might helps all to avoid crime and corruption.

What influenced you to write this book?

That others may see my past mistakes and avoid doing what I did.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

That harming others, no matter if it’s physically or spiritually, will one day catch up with you!

What’s next for you?

Will see where God direct my next steps.
