I didn't want to write about the subject matter because I like to write romances with happy endings. The addiction in Illusions is painful. There's nothing special about the hospital, other than it being my place of employment. That's where the voices decided to speak. The other subject I vowed never to write about is also now a novel. I didn’t want to write about the subject matter because I like to write romances with happy endings. The addiction in Illusions is painful.
