Williams Smith draws on biblical, historical, and contemporary stories of those who have dared to step out and make a difference. Smith is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference and the Katrina National Justice Commission. She is a regular contributor to the Washington Post’s “On Faith” blog.
