A Literary Christmas Celebration Presents Tia McCollors

Christmas all month with WrittenVoicesBlog.com.  This week, we will meet the some of the award-winning, bestselling authors of  the Anointed Authors on Tour.

Tia McCollors – CHRISTmas is my absolute favorite time of year. Above all, I can’t help but thank God for the gift of His son Jesus Christ. Christmas morning is always one of the most peaceful days in my house, despite the excited chatter of family and the squeals of my two and a half year old who finds more joy in ripping off paper than he does with the gift in the box! My five month old is content right now staring at the lights on the Christmas tree.  Christmas is also a time to relish family traditions, like choosing a special ornament for each of my children that represents something signficant that happened for them that year. Because of that, my Christmas decorations bring up great memories!

My fourth novel, the Last Woman Standing, is scheduled for release in August 2009. For those readers who just can’t wait, here’s a little bit about it:

The man. His woman. His ex-wife. After being married to their careers instead of each other for ten years, “Ace” and Lynette Bowers ended their marriage. But four years later, it seems their love never ended – to both of their surprises and denial. Sheila Rushmore is Ace’s current girlfriend and a woman who is used to getting what she wants – except Ace’s commitment to marriage. When Sheila realizes Lynette may be the cause, she launches a plan to play the hand of God, instead of allowing Him to bring the love all three of them desire.

Other than that, I’ll be working on the finishing touches of the first book in my children’s series: The Faith Academy Series. It’s a series about Parker, a seven year old girl with an imagination that sometimes seems is too creative for her own good. Trouble usually follows Parker wherever she goes, but thankfully, God does too!

Tia McCollors entices the taste buds of her readers with the sweet blend of faith and fiction in her inspirational novels, A Heart of Devotion, Zora’s Cry and The Truth About Love. After leaving a 10-year career as a public relations professional, she has emerged as a steadfast author of faith-based novels and an inspirational speaker. She resides in the Atlanta , Georgia area with her husband and children, but readers can visit her home on the web at TiaMcCollors.com or at myspace.com/TiaWrites. Her fourth novel, The Last Woman Standing, will hit bookstore shelves in August 2009.
