Faith plus Hope Equals Victory – but you gotta believe you can fly!
by Carenda Lynch
To walk in victory, to me, is literally rooted on the foundation of faith and the substance of hope. If one finds themselves feeling hopeless it is impossible to activate faith and reap the unseen evidence of it. If we are going to walk in victory we must take action.
The word tells us that faith without works is dead. Many of us must understand and appreciate that victory comes from pursuing purpose. I believe that a seed, called vision, is planted in us but when the enemy attempts to attack and deceive us he rather us be a victim than a victor.
One of the major battles I had to overcome was the approval of others. I did not have victory in this area at one point in my life. I cared more about what people said than what God said. That is a very uncomfortable and unstable compromising position to be in.
However, I have learned that only what we do for Christ will last. And when people say or assume that your dream and your vision is impossible ,that is the perfect time to allow the vision in you to leap as a reminder that the promises of God are yes and Amen!
If you are going to walk in victory you must learn to endure. The Bible tells us that the race is not given to the swift nor the strong but to the one who endures to the end. One of the things that makes me go on is understanding that I am God’s workmanship (Ephesians 2:10), accepting that I belong to Him and that I have been created in His image.
Therefore, if I quit to soon I quit on God and I abort the plan from the Masters Hands; and for me that is not an option.
I’m going to spread my wings – with God all things are possible!
