Marriage, Motherhood and a Monster-in-Law.
What a cool tag line and story! How many times do women get caught up in trying to please other people instead of just sticking to being themselves? In the third and final book of the Sassy Sistahood series, author Marilynn Griffith tells a story many women can relate to with both giggles and tears. Tracey Blackman, a newlywed and now a mother seems to have it all except for a few minor issues. More like major issues! At the top of the list is Queen Elizabeth.

Kendra, describe yourself for our visitors.
“A lover of words” is a phrase that describes me well. Whether reading them, writing them, or listening to them – I have a great appreciation for quality creative expression. I find good music very stimulating so I listen to it often when I’m creating a story. Because of its inspirational message, gospel music is my melody of choice, but I also enjoy jazz and adult R&B. Fitness is important to me, too, so I eat well and exercising five days per week.

“Two and sometimes more to tango”
Lives are intertwined with more church drama than a little bit in Lutishia Lovely’s Love Like Hallelujah. First, there’s King and Tai, a married pastor and first lady who have weathered an adulterous storm, and whose relationship is on the comeback trail. Then there is Derrick and Vivian, another first couple and close friends of King and Tai’s, who seemingly have the perfect relationship from the outset of the book. Finally, Cy is back, madly in love with Hope and he is making her is bride. What Tai, Vivian and Hope have in common are women who are after each of their respective husbands, by any means necessary. Supporting characters Tootie, Robin and Millicent wreak havoc in these women’s lives, so much so that each married woman’s relationship is tested to the max.
The Divine Divas
We’re four best friends – Diamond, India, Veronique and Aaliyah – who’ve known each other since we were kids. And in September, we formed a singing group to compete in the Glory 2 God Gospel Talent Search. It’s sooooo exciting – we’re working hard to win.. We attend Holy Cross Prep in Los Angeles and although we’re best friends forever and love each other to Reeses pieces, we like to do different kinds of things.
